11/01/17 Al Capone Rules Chicago in 'Gangster Land' Trailer

1920s Chicago was a city ruled by Al Capone, but he had enemies waiting to fight back.

The new trailer for Gangster Land (previously titled In the Absence of Good Men), looks at the bloody wars between the Italian and Irish mobs as Capone (Milo Gibson) and his right-hand man "Machine Gun" Jack McGurn (Sean Faris) battle George "Bugs" Moran (Peter Facinelli). The war led to the famed St. Valentine’s Day Massacre on on Feb. 14, 1929, and saw seven men die in a machine gun attack thought to be ordered by Capone.

The cast of Gangster Land also includes Jamie-Lynn Sigler, who plays flapper dancer Lulu Rolfe, love interest to amateur boxer-turned-mobster McGurn, who is at the heart of the story.  

Timothy Woodward Jr. is directing the film for his Status Media & Entertainment banner. Lauren de Normandie, James Cullen Bressack and Jarrett Furst are producing.
